Philadelphia Forgers

The Philadelphia Forgers is a conceptual women’s basketball team that embodies strength, resilience, and community engagement. Through the Hammer Out Hunger initiative, the team addresses food insecurity in Kensington by providing organic seed samplers and partnering with local farmers. Each harvest supports food drives, community kitchens, and urban farms, promoting sustainable living and mutual aid. More than just providing food, this initiative empowers the community to create lasting change and hammer out hunger one seed at a time.
